Delicate, deeply cut chartreuse leaves give this elderberry shrub an elegant lacy appearance. ‘Lemony Lace’ stays tidy and manageable at 5’ tall, but it can also be cut back like a perennial in the fall, so feel free to experiment with its fabulous mounded form. Providing season-long beauty with white spring flowers and red berries in the fall, this native cultivar is very tough, and deer-resistant. Takes full sun in northern climates, but thrives in light shade in the South.
