Brilliant-yellow semi-double flowers remain luminous in late summer’s hot, dry conditions. ‘Double the Sun’s compact, mounded 12–14" tall plants with 2½" flowers are in bloom 2–3 weeks earlier than comparable varieties. Blooms boom on from spring into late fall. Produces vasefuls of dazzling cut flowers. Thrives in full sun. Deadheading will ensure a marathon bloom cycle. Pest-resistant.
