Bright-green, celery-like stems produce “ghostly” clouds of 4-6" umbel flowers appearing to levitate over the border. Enjoy licorice-scented leaves in year one, then a floral epiphany in year two. Cook the stems or add raw leaves and stalks to salads. Use roots to make herbal tea. Biennial.
