The size and color make this one a real show-stopper in the late June garden and in large bouquets. Each huge flower head (up to 6" in diameter) is a globe-like cluster of hundreds of tiny, lilac purple flowers. Its strong, tubular stems make it a dramatic addition at the back of a border. Alliums are a great transitional flower, providing drama in the late spring and early summer garden. Fresh cut or dried, they are a flower arranger's delight. They are easy to grow and multiply and increase in beauty each year, providing more and more stems and blooms for years to come. Bulb size: 20 cm and up.
