Tricyrtis flowers, commonly called toad lily, are most unusual with small sepals often spotted like toads. Native to Taiwan and hardy in zones 4-9, these plants can naturalize over time, forming upright stems from underground rhizomes. The lance-shape leaves are glossy, bright green with parallel veins and hairy undersides that often have a beautiful striped appearance. Plant in full sun to part shade. Provide steady moisture until well-established.
