Strawberries: the earlier the better! Compact ever-bearing hybrid lavishes plentiful berries from early spring into fall. Fruit-fancying chefs praise the fabulous, full, sweet flavor of ‘Delizzimo’. Enjoy the berries fresh off the bush, sweetly flavoring ice cream or shortcake—or starring in strawberry pie. In early spring, soon after planting, determinate annual plants put on a lovely exhibition of petite white flowers. Easy-growing plants, smartly dressed in dark-green leaves, perform their best in moist, well-drained soil in full sun.
