Full flavored, rich aromatic flavor makes this one of the best known and most sought after varieties. One of the hardiest garlics, it is easy to grow in most climates with some indication of disease tolerance, and is a go-to for many first time growers. Named after Canadian grower Al Music, who reputedly brought this variety from Italy in the 1980. Harvest fall planted garlic the following season, late spring or early summer, about 240 days from planting. Harvest spring planted garlic the same season, about 90 days from planting. Averages 6 cloves per bulb. Hardneck variety.
