Great color for the garden from July until October.
We selected this Russian sage because of its strong stems and neat, upright habit. Rocketman produces very aromatic foliage, on strong stems each topped with large, lavender-blue flowers beginning to bloom in mid-summer and lasting through October. Plants are ideal for large containers in city gardens and smaller spaces. PPAF

Already have some flowersI have purchased this plant before, and my hubby had to dig up my flowers to do some plumbing work, so I bought this again. I planted the plants as soon as I got them and already have little flowers on the plants. This plant loves the sunny side of my house and stays blooming from July to early -mid November for me. The bees love it and I even catch a butterfly having a go at it every now and then. Thanks Burpee!

Poor growthI purchased several of these plants a few years ago and they might be about 12 inches high, they are still just a single stem - very disappointing.

A Total Waste of my Money!I spent 12.95 per plant for Russian sage. I read the description, thought that for 12.95 per plant I would receive a nice specimen. Woe is me - I got a 3 inch tall start, totally dried out (and I rescued it less than 30 minutes after delivery - I have the UPS notice to prove it) that may or may not survive. Look at the pictures...if you were walking through a nursery would you pay 12.95 each for what is pictured? Unbelievable!
