This uniquely colored single hellebore is dramatic in apple green, edged with rose red. The brushstrokes are evenly painted along each broad tepal, the pattern forming extraordinary flowers unlike any other hellebore. In late winter, blooms emerge from barren ground, a prelude to spring. Clean, rich green, nicely lobed leaves are very attractive through the seasons. Hellebores make excellent ground covers and are deer resistant. Plant in groups with ferns, Bleeding Hearts and other shade perennials.
