One of the very best asters.
Hundreds of 1" daisy-like lavender blue flowers spring abundantly from the mounds of gray-green foliage. A perfectly gorgeous aster with aromatic leaves and visiting butterflies, the plants produce a splendid show in autumn. Easy to grow in full sun, with other native plants and deer resistant.

Beautiful and full of blooms!I still can't believe that a tiny plant could turn into this! It was full of beautiful blooms in the fall when almost everything else had stopped blooming. It was so large that it blocked the plants behind it. I was able to take that plant and divide it into 2 clumps that I planted as anchors in the back of the flowerbed this year. They are now as large as last years bush and growing into other plants. A tiny bit that got left in the original location has turned into a nice sized mound as well. They are all full of buds and I'm waiting to be wowed again very soon!

Love this asterI have enjoyed Raydon's aster in many gardens since I move frequently. This aster is one of my "must have" plants. From the small thing it was when I got it in the spring it has spread to over 2 feet and is loaded with buds.
