Summer-loving North American native flaunts sweetly scented, purplish-red flowers in attractive clusters. A tidier, smaller-scale version of classic Joe Pye Weed that grows only 24-32” high, blooming earlier in the season and over a longer period. Attracts bees and butterflies, yet resists pests and foraging critters. As low-maintenance as it gets. Will bloom the first year.
