Organic seeds are produced from plants that have not been treated with any synthetic pesticides or fertilizers. Burpee's organic seeds have been certified as organic.
Non-organic seeds are produced from plants that may have been treated with synthetic pesticides or fertilizers. Seeds not labeled with the term organic are not organically grown.
None of the seeds that Burpee offers are treated after they have been harvested.
