Cranberry Rosemary Cocktail

Sprigs of rosemary infuse this festive cocktail with fresh, herby flavor.

Ingredients

For the Rosemary Simple Syrup:

  • ½ cup water
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 2–3 sprigs fresh rosemary

For the Cocktail:

  • 1.5 oz vodka
  • 1 oz rosemary simple syrup
  • 2 oz unsweetened cranberry juice
  • Splash of soda water
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh cranberries and rosemary sprig (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small sauce pan, combine water and sugar. Bring to a boil and stir to dissolve sugar. Remove from heat and add sprigs rosemary. Let it steep and infuse for 30 min. This rosemary simple syrup can be refrigerated for 5 days.
  2. In a lowball glass filled with ice, combine vodka, rosemary syrup, and cranberry juice. Add a splash of soda water, stir gently, and garnish with fresh cranberries and rosemary.
