
Sprigs of rosemary infuse this festive cocktail with fresh, herby flavor.
Ingredients
For the Rosemary Simple Syrup:
- ½ cup water
- ½ cup sugar
- 2–3 sprigs fresh rosemary
For the Cocktail:
- 1.5 oz vodka
- 1 oz rosemary simple syrup
- 2 oz unsweetened cranberry juice
- Splash of soda water
- Ice cubes
- Fresh cranberries and rosemary sprig (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
- In a small sauce pan, combine water and sugar. Bring to a boil and stir to dissolve sugar. Remove from heat and add sprigs rosemary. Let it steep and infuse for 30 min. This rosemary simple syrup can be refrigerated for 5 days.
- In a lowball glass filled with ice, combine vodka, rosemary syrup, and cranberry juice. Add a splash of soda water, stir gently, and garnish with fresh cranberries and rosemary.
