Maiskij is another beautiful Turban garlic with a rich garlicky flavor that has a robust pungency. Grows well in most of the USA. Turbans are the very earliest harvesting garlics that store until mid-November. Harvest fall planted garlic the following season, late spring or early summer, about 240 days from planting. Harvest spring planted garlic the same season, about 90 days from planting. This garlic is produces a deliciously tender and mild garlic scape for early season snacking. It offers a robust and rich pungency with medium heat. One of the best for baking. Averages 11 cloves per bulb. Hardneck variety.
