A vivid shade of deep red-purple makes these large 8-10” blooms pop with color. Flowers are held on long, reddish stems, making them perfect for cutting. Looks especially dramatic planted next to dark-leaved plants, such as purple fountain grass or ornamental millet. An excellent choice for the back of the border, the 3-4’ tall plants bloom prolifically and consistently from late summer until the first frost.
