Adorned with the biggest blooms of any angelonia, ‘Archangel Cherry Red’ dazzles in containers, massed in the landscape or beautifying the border. Mingled with white snaps, blue-red bicolor makes for a patriotic floral mix. Sun-worshipper is aflutter with butterflies and bees. Easy-upkeep, well-branching annual requires no pinching or extra care. Sturdy plants thrive in extreme heat, damp, and drought. All they ask is to be watered when soil is dry to the touch. While bothered by few insect or disease problems, do keep an eye out for aphids during warm, humid spells.
