This neat little shrub puts on an ever changing display of color! In the early spring the leaves are bright red, then transform to yellow and finally to green. To top it off, dark purple blooms appear in late spring. Trim it back after the flowers are finished to refresh the foliage, and enjoy another set of blooms. Deer-resistant plants are a favorite of hummingbirds.
