Lonicera Seeds and Plants
Lonicera, commonly called Trumpet Honeysuckle, is a vigorous vine with cascades of gorgeous flowers loaded with honey-like nectar. Perfect for vertical trellises, gazebos and arbors; will sprawl out as ground cover if no support is provided. Clusters of whorled, tubular flowers appear in late spring just in time to attract hummingbirds, butterflies and bees; in early fall, small red berries appear (no snacking please—they’re inedible—but our feathered friends love them). Prune as needed immediately after flowering.
