Native evergreen groundcover with edible fruit and striking foliage and flowers.
Eat, drink, and grow berries. Wintergreen's fruit can be eaten fresh, while the evergreen’s leaves make for a flavorful tea. In spring, the native evergreen ground cover produces white, lily of the valley type flowers, to be followed by red berries when fall rolls around. Holiday plants are shipped in a white 6" ceramic pot, and with green and red foliage. Expect berries beginning Mid-December. Makes a beautiful gift or holiday decoration!

Lovely strong plant -Needed a few weeks to blossomWas given as a gift. As a gardener I understood it would take a few week for the berries to develop and when they did the plant in its beautiful container was the center piece on my table receiving many compliments.

Looked nothing like picture, still doesn't.The plant arrived with 2 red berries at the base of the plant so not visible, not what I had in mind for a holiday decoration. The green plant remains green, but with negligible new growth. The pot is real pretty, I'm using as a base for another plant now.
