‘Willamette’ is a triploid hop bred from the English variety ‘Fuggle’, and is primary used for English ales and American interpretations of English styles. First released in Oregon in 1971 by Al Haunold for its high yield and mild spicy and earthy aroma, ‘Willamette’ cones supply complex earthy characteristics and a spicy aroma characterized by herbal, floral and fruity notes.
