Sesame Vegetable Kabobs

You don’t need meat to make smoky, savory kabobs. A trio of marinated vegetables makes for an appetizing dish at any barbecue.

 

Recipe:

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together ¼ cup sesame oil, 3 Tbs rice wine vinegar, and 4 Tbs soy sauce.
  1. Add whole mushrooms, cherry tomatoes and 2-inch chunks of scallion and marinate for a few hours.
  1. Thread onto skewers and grill until charred on both sides. Drizzle with marinade and garnish with sesame seeds.
