Rated 3 out of 5 by from Small plant - expected a small Tree... I ordered this tree for my grandmother's garden who loves figs. I was quite excited after reading the reviews, but surprised when I received my plant that it was a plant - not even a foot tall. All the reviews here mentioned how wonderful the tree is, but I want to be sure to mention this tree won't produce fruit I imagine for a couple of years!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from More Like Rooted Cutting This was an extremely expensive fig tree given that I received a tree that was about 8 inches tall. I have purchased fruit trees from Burpee in the past and I was expecting something that was at least a couple feet. I could have bought a 5 foot tree that was already fruiting for the same price. It will probably take a couple years to experience the fruit- if a little cutting this size can make it through the intense summer here in Phoenix.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loaded with Fruit This has been a super plant on my patio. Great foliage, small shrub, no special needs. Second year I have these here in PA, in pots on my patio. I bring them inside my garage over the winter, but they just come back and reward me with delicious fruit.Started eating figs in late July. Fruit ripens one at the time so you need to pay attention. My little daughter loves to play fruit hunt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Robust plants I just received and planted two of these figs. Within a week they have grown quite a bit and seem to love their half wine barrel pots. I have never had a mail order plant this healthy and robust from the start. I am really looking forward to watching these mature and bear fruit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very pleased, ordering more in the spring We planted two of these trees in Central KY last spring. They transplanted well and I was even rewarded with 5 mature figs from them the first year. They are securely winterized right now and I'm looking forward to what the future brings. We are buying more of these in the spring.
