How to Grow
THIN to stand about 12" apart when seedlings are 2" high. Transplant hardened-off seedlings to the garden after all danger of frost. Strawflowers prefer well-drained, sandy soil in full sun and can tolerate hot, dry conditions. They do not require staking or any special maintenance.
Strawflower is perfect in dried or fresh flower arrangements. All strawflowers are useful for adding color to beds and borders. The dwarf cultivars look good in containers or as edgings.
