Short Description

Unique deciduous conifer with bright gold needles.

Full Description

Feast your eyes on this distinctive tree! ‘Amber Glow™’ features feathery needles that emerge bright gold in spring, and then take on a tinge of orange for the rest of the season. Staying relatively compact with a mature height of just 15’ and spreading 7-8’, its distinctive pyramidal shape makes it a great choice for a long-term addition to a perennial bed. As a deciduous conifer, it will drop its needles come fall – plant it on the south side of your house for shade in the summer and sun in the winter! In wet areas, it may reach taller heights closer to 30’ at age 25.
