Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far so good! I received my wisteria plant on June 14, it came packaged nicely with other plants. One stem was bent but I repaired it with some tape :) it’s my first time having a wisteria plant buyback after receiving it, keeping it indoors by a window for 2 days, then Introducing it outside in half sun then half shade, it is now June 21 and it has some new growth! Still in the same pot it arrived it. It also has some leaf discoloration now but I think it’s because of the harsh sun here in Las Vegas, Nevada. But I’m very hopeful for this little guy! Might be too soon to tell but I’ll do updates if I’m able to!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful, yet non invasive I had good luck with my blue moon wisteria. I planted it in the ground, the first season I wasn't even sure it was alive, but it developed leaves (finally!) that spring. The next year, it was a little over a foot tall and developed a couple of pretty purple flower brachts. Last year it did great, with even more. I am cutting back any of the little "runners" that try to shoot out from the base, and I am training mine upward into a Victorian tree form. I think in several years, it will be a show stopper in my front yard. It smells so good when flowering, too!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Died I bought two of these plants, but it doesn't appear that either one is going to live. The one had a little bit of green grow, but it hasn't grown any more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is the hardiest plant I've ever encountered. I bought two, one for each end of a trellis. I planted both as planned and the next day when I got home from work, a squirrel had bitten off one of them at the base of the stem. Defeated and angry, I left it there. The roommate took the bitten off twig inside and stuck it in a glass of water. Two weeks later and it started sprouting tiny new leaves...but it eventually died. After another few weeks, I noticed that coming up from where the squirrel had slayed this plant, new growth was emerging. The roots stayed alive and the plant has started to grow new stems. I'm absolutely amazed by this. I moved out since then but I expect my old roommate will give me some cuttings from the plant next year when it is more developed. The other plant has grown to about a foot tall and I'm waiting for next year when it takes off like a rocket and starts to bloom.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from "wish"teria I am still wishing that mine takes hold and does something worth looking at! I started it inside. I took some pics and showed them to a plant expert. He told me it had some disease.(it was on the back of the leaves) I treated it and it was still alive, so I put it outside in my garden. It is doing OK, now... It's growing and is green, so I can't complain! I am not sure how long it takes to look like anything , let alone the beautiful picture on the webpage!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from be patient with wisteria This is 2nd year since planting, last year I planted it in large flowerpot it was so small. This spring into ground. It took a few weeks to grow. I thought it was dead. Now it is blooming and growing faster. It will be worth it a few years from now.
