Foxglove cross with luminous reddish-orange flowers is a marvel of color and shape.
Welcome a new dimension in the land of flowers. Like a foxglove from a particularly lovely dream, this cross of digitalis (foxglove) and isoplexis (a foxglove cousin), is a marvel of color and shape. Blooming from summer to fall, heavily-branched, densely-packed plants are arrayed with luminous reddish-orange, tubular flowers with yellow throats. Sterile blossoms and side-branching ensure a long bloom time. Tall 36” plants have dark-green digitalis foliage. Full sun to part shade.

Hopeful beauty deniedLove the absolute look of the plant greenery. However, I did NOT purchase the plant for its greenery. The plants are lucious and healthy but have never ever bloomed and I purchased 4 of them...none have bloomed. The 2 raspberry ones I purchased elsewhere have bloomed and are fabulous so would have really loved to have seen these in bloom.

Sadly, no flowersCan't begin to tell you how excited I was last year when I read about 'Digiplexis, Illumination Flame.' I purchased about 9 of these plants in total. Most were planted in the ground and there were a few in big pots.
There wasn't a single flower on all these plants.
The plants that were planted in the ground looked great and they are nice plants but....
Didn't get any flowers.
Burpee issued a refund, which I appreciated very much.
Hope everybody else has better luck.
