Made from ground crab and lobster shells, Neptune’s Harvest Organic Crab and Lobster Shell is high in Chitin, promoting the growth of Chitin eating bacteria in the soil, which in turn creates a hostile environment for nematodes, ants and grubs. It also deters slugs and snails, moles, voles, mice, and weeds when spread around plants. A natural fertilizer with 5% Nitrogen and 3% Phosphorus, it also is high in calcium and a source of magnesium as well. Omri Listed for organic gardening.
