Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this! Got this kit as a weekend project to do with my kids. First time I’ve ever planted seeds and Thought it was super easy! Not sure when I need to move my baby plants to small pots. Do I keep watering them in this, or move to pot? Any suggestions?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed I bought this 2 weeks ago. Today I put it together and now waiting for pellets to expand......and waiting.....not happening. Waste of my money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible product I bought this product today at my local home depot. I followed the instructions word for word and the soil did not expand completely. I waited 10 min and no change. So I broke the soil up with my finger to loosen it. After doing that the soil was moist but did not come close to filling the individual containers. Planted seeds in it anyways because I do not have time this month to return the product. We will see how it does

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Working Well I bought a 72 cell kit - it's 2 of the 36 cell trays - from Lowes. The pellets expanded nicely, all of my tomatoes sprouted and are an inch high one week after planting. The peppers are just starting to sprout. The 36 cell tray is a handy size too. I bought 2 more kits for my flowers. I like this product much better then another brand that has the pellets contained in a netting type material.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from "particle board" pellets I bought this at Home Depot. I spent days trying to get the pellets to work. After the first day, the cells were only about 40% full. The pellets were very hard to soften and I needed to use a shish-K-Bob stick to get it to break apart. Then due to the low volume of "soil", I decided to add a second to each pocket. Add another day and time trying to separate. I planted seeds, but not sure how it will work. Will it sprout. Will the root ball be so bad that it falls apart when trying to transplant. I had used this method 2x in the past and it worked well. This time was a big disappointment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to succeed I bought four different types of seed starter trays this year to compare my seedling growth as I'm new to starting my own plants. This tray yielded the best seedings, fastest starting and most consistent growth. So much so that as I moved seedlings out of these into larger peat pots, I transitioned smaller seedings from the other trays into these. I bought heirloom seeds, conventional seeds and everything in-between. I planted seeds in each container and the ones in these seed starters were always bigger and faster growing than any other. Honestly, sure the pods didn't expand and fluff on their own after soaking, but it took me 10 seconds with a popsicle stick to break them up. Also, I refilled the containers with regular seed starting soil and had excellent success there too. Very easy, very user-friendly, definitely buying more to replace the other types of seed starter trays I tried.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Seedlings dying? I bought the 72 and 36 cell greenhouses. My seedlings started out great, but several have now flopped over and there’s fuzzy white mold on the pellets. I’m not overwatering and the lid is completely off...what am I doing wrong?

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed Many of the disks did not expand. Those that did, filled the cavity completely or half way. In the photo, it shows the soil mixture to the top of each cavity - not hardly. Wish there was a customer service to answer my questions.
