Plant Markers 25/Pack

Short Description

Keep track of what you plant and where.

Full Description

Identify your plants the easy way. The over-sized name plate (1 1/4" x 3 1/2") allows plenty of room for notes and the black carbon pencil is indelible. The stakes are 11 1/2" long so you can anchor them securely. The labels are made of brushed zinc, which will not rust, and you can erase by buffing gently with fine steel wool. Both labels and stakes will stand up to years of use in any weather. Each package contains 25 labels and stakes and one marking pencil.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Plant markers Like the plant markers. Easy to write on and very easy to assemble. Show up nicely in the garden.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrific! Tough and practical I ordered these to 1) Remind me of what was what on our large numbers of plantings and 2) To protect the plants from the weed trimmer guy (husband). They have served these functions extremely well (although one or two look a bit disheveled from the weed trimmer anyway!). I suspect that they are used more often in gardens visited by viewers, and even for those of use who want them for practical reasons they are great...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice markers! Great product that is high enough to be easy to see. The sign is a little thin so it bends easily. I prefer the sharpness of an ink marker for my writing (instead of the pencil), but yet have to find a marker with ink that holds up well under the sun on the metal (Sharpees don't last more than a few months).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works well They are exactly what I wanted. They work well for marking plants. I used a labeling gun with plastic tape so marking will last through the season changes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Plant Markers I have used these for years and I love them. I use a magic marker and it works fine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Erasing Plant Markers Just recieved these markers, so I can not say how they will hold up in the garden. I just wanted to say that if you don't have any fine steel wool, a paper towel dampened with vinegar willl also work quite well.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from o.k., but not great These markers are probably fine if you only have a few letters to write in bold and go over it several times with the provide pencil, but I have found that my full plant names are almost unreadable after only 1month outside- I'll be sticking to plastic plant markers with a sharpie in the future

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These stakes take the cake! These are the best Metal Plant Markers that I have ever used. I didn't think these markers would come in handy until the Spring, but I was wrong. With all the wind, snow, sleet and ice that we normally get in the Winter, I was worried I might not be able to find certain plants in the spring. I used a few of these great plant markers, along with the pencil that comes with them, and even after the rain, sleet, and snow we've had, the markers are still standing nice and tall. Better yet, the writing is as fresh as it was last September. Thanks Burpee for coming up with a better way to mark my perennials over the winter.
