The perfect choice for lagers, Belgian ales and other continental styles. Bred from the popular ‘Czech Saaz’, ‘Cascade’, ‘Brewers Gold’, ‘Early Green’ and various European varieties, ‘Sterling’ is a diploid seedling developed in Corvallis, Oregon and released in 1998. Selected for its storability and high tolerance to mildew, it is primarily prized for its exciting, pleasant aromatics. Delivers a moderate and pleasing “hoppy” flavor with delicately spiced, citrusy aroma with both a floral and herbal punch.
