Geranium, Big Red Hybrid is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from No blooms I bought the big red hybrid geranium seeds and planted them in February. I have a hobby size greenhouse for growing my Mother and I's flowers. The seeds came in a timely manner and well packaged. I planted in February according to the directions. They took a while to sprout as I expected. They grew into well established plants, good leaves but no blooms. It is the middle of July and I can't find a single bud. My aunt said you need to plant the from cuttings vs seeds and I was hoping to prove her wrong. O well. This year I will be learning how to take cuttings from my Mother's purchased geraniums.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Did not grow I was really looking forward to seeing the seedlings take off. The did not. I will not try this again. My other flowers grown from seeds did great. I will look for mature plants. I need more full sun geraniums.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Strong Grower Glad I bought this geranium. The packet had ten seeds, and I wound up with ten plants. I was happy the plants grew well under my fluorescent lights until the weather warmed. Once planted outdoors they grew quickly and started to flower. The blooms are bright red and numerous. For a seed grown geranium this is a great plant. I am quite pleased.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Third year in a row I had to buy additional seed to augment flowers that did not germinate. I've been growing them the same way for better than 20 years, so I doubt that I messed up. Hopefully next year will be better, although those that did come up were spectacular, as always.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 73% germination rate 11 seeds in the pack but only 8 germinated, 73%. When you include shipping these seeds are getting very expensive. I sure hope they are worth it. Can't wait till spring.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Big Red Hybrid Geranium Huge Success! I spend way too much money buying geraniums from the nursery. This spring I decided to order a package of 10 seeds. All 10 germinated in March in my window and grew to be just like you have pictured by July! I was very pleased and will do this again next spring! Thank you Burpee!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor seeds : ) The border mix seeds germinated better. Big red was a big bust, only 4 seeds germinated. Too bad was looking forward to growm geraniums like the picture. I think I will just buy geraniums and plant them myself.
