Take your pick of peaches, plums or the stone fruit of your choice and bake into delicious dessert. The finishing touch: fresh basil from your herb garden!
Recipe:
1. Mix sliced stone fruit with a 1 Tbs flour, a squeeze of lemon and a pinch of salt.
2. Pile mixture into your favorite pie crust and fold up the edges to seal. Sprinkle generously with turbinado sugar and bake at 400 degrees F for 30 minutes or until golden.
3. Serve with basil and a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
