Lemon Verbena Daiquiri

Recipe:

 

  1. To make a simple syrup, add several sprigs of lemon verbena (or your herb of choice) to ½ cup water and ½ cup sugar and bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer just until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and let infuse for 30 minutes. Strain and refrigerate for up to one month.

 

  1. For a daiquiri, combine 5 oz white rum, 1 oz fresh squeezed lime juice and ¾ oz simple syrup in a shaker with ice and shake well. Strain into a coupe glass and garnish with extra herb and lime slices.
