Use an assortment of colorful heirloom tomatoes to make this fresh salsa. Don’t forget to add cilantro from your garden!
Recipe:
In a large bowl, combine 1 small clove grated garlic, ½ small white onion diced, 2 cups chopped heirloom tomatoes (including different colors and sizes), ½ tsp salt, 1 handful chopped cilantro and ½ lime squeezed. Stir together and adjust seasoning to taste. For a kick, add a dash of your favorite Mexican hot sauce.
Tip: Cut the cheeks off the tomatoes to easily scrape out the seeds and juices with your finger before chopping.
