Put a spicy twist on the margarita using homegrown hot peppers and herbs. Jalapeño and cilantro bring delicious balance to this surprising summer cocktail.
Recipe:
1. In the bottom of a glass, lightly crush a few thinly sliced jalapeños and a sprig of cilantro with the back of a wooden spoon.
2. Fill the glass with ice and add 1 ½ oz tequila and 2 oz fresh lime juice, then top with soda water.
3. Stir well and garnish with sliced lime and more jalapeño and cilantro if desired.
