This new fast growing, mildly sweet green, can be picked and enjoyed thirty days from sowing. 'Zen' resembles collard greens, but leaves are larger and more tender, much like lettuce, but with a rich savory taste. An excellent source of vitamin A and C, too. Resistant to flowering in the heat of summer and early to harvest, 'Zen' is dependable for picking all year. Hardy, compact rosettes up to 12" high, spreading 18" wide.
