In the Garden

What do perennials, your soil, lawn and December all have in common? Here are six tips you help your lawn and garden grow: 1) Spread winter mulch over perennial beds after the ground freezes hard. 2) If the ground hasn’t frozen yet, finish planting any bulbs that were overlooked during the fall. 3) Take a soil test if the ground is still workable. 4) Make a list of perennials that will need dividing in spring. 5) Have the lawn mower blades sharpened. 6) Clean up any remaining leaves from trees and shrubs.
