The bountiful harvest begins about 50 days after sowing seed. The long slender, slightly ridged fruits are most flavorful when picked 8-12" long. For a special treat, try the flowers in salads or lightly fried- don't worry, the harvest won't be impacted by removing some of the flowers! Grow in full sun where the soil is well drained.
