Jewel-like trusses of translucent red beads drape these hardy plants in mid-summer. Ripe friut hangs a long time. Wonderfuln fresh if fully ripe, currants make delicious jelly. Good hedge plant too - 3-4' tall. Hardy in Zones 3-7. Grows best in full sun.
