Dryopteris erythrosora
Known as the Autumn Fern, this beauty is at its best in the spring. Autumn describing its colors not the season of interest. Foliage color changes with season. Scarlet spores adorn undersides of the fronds. New growth emerges metallic coppery green, turns green in summer and bronzy in fall. Height 18-24". Perennial in Zones 5-9. Grows best in partial to full shade and moist, slightly acidic soil.
