All About Beans
Filet Bean La France
Stays perfect until reaching its full size.
Plants yield early and need no support. One packet has 2 oz. of seed unless noted, and will sow a row of about 20'; one pound sows about 160'. Our seed is not treated. La France. 56 days. Most filet-type green beans must be harvested early and often, or they become stringy. Not this one. It stays perfect until reaching its full size. Go ahead and pick it young, but if you miss a day or two (or just prefer a more mature bean), it will still be delicious. Burpee Exclusive. Sun.
