The uniquely colored flowers are a dramatic accent for your late spring border. Highly recommended!
They light up the garden with jewel like colors. And they're fabulous for cutting! They are easy to grow and live for years, forming large clumps if well fed and left undisturbed. In our area they bloom in June, but they may flower as early as May in the South, and as late as July in the North. As cut flowers, they are long lasting and fresh looking. The slender, grass like foliage is handsome, too. Plant bulbs in full sun in well drained, loamy soil in clumps of at least 12 bulbs of a single color.
Zones 4-9.
Bulbs ship in fall at proper planting time.
