How to Sow Tritoma (Kniphofia)
Sow in average soil in a sunny area, in spring after danger of frost. Sow seed thinly outdoors and cover with 1/4" of fine soil. Firm soil lightly and keep seeds at 70-75 F. Seedlings emerge 20-30 days after seed is sown, depending on soil and weather conditions. Seeds may be started indoors about 6 weeks before outdoor planting time.
