This summer-long flower show combines Oriental, Tiger, Asiatic, Trumpet and species type lilies. Their transitional flowering times, and array of sizes and colors, ensure a summer filled with lilies. Colors from pure white to hot pink, including bicolors and spotted. Great for cut flowers (3-4").
Set out bulbs after last frost, in full sun to light shade. Plant 2" deep, spaced 6-15" apart,
depending on variety. Most lilies thrive in well-drained, moist soils. Mulch soil and water
well during the growing season, tapering towards winter. Stake tall varieties and deadhead to
keep plants neat. Cut back stems to the base after first frost. Avoid siting where plants are
exposed to extreme heat.
Harvesting Lily (bulb)
Harvest lily flowers when at the bud stage, colored and swollen, but not yet open.
