Sow outdoors in average soil in full sun after danger of last frost or when temperatures remain above 45°F. Barely cover seeds. Keep moist.
How to Grow
Seedlings emerge in 10-21 days. Thin to stand about 12" apart. Pinch or harvest from plants frequently to keep them bushy.
Harvesting
Once you find an oregano with a flavor you really like, propagate it by division in spring. Greek oregano is one of the best hardy oreganos for cooking. Dry bunches for use in the cooler months. Use it in Italian dishes, tomato sauce, pizza, fish and salad dressing.
