Tomato, Thessaloniki

A Greek variety celebrated for its flavor, solid meaty flesh and hardiness.
Bred in Greece, when this variety was introduced in the U.S. in the 1950s, its flavor and high-quality fruits made it an instant hit. Indeterminate vines produce uniform, smooth, 4-6 oz. red fruits with solid, meaty flesh. Resistant to sunburn, cracks and spots, Thessaloniki's fruits last a long time on the vine when ripe.
