I wrote to you last year asking if the "tomato starter" had been changed as the results were not as favorable as in the past. You replied that it had not been changed. Again this year I am seeing similar results as last year. The seed germinated well but plants have not done well. Have lost a few already and those still living are not healthy looking plants as I was accustomed to having in the past. Like the seed but not the medium; will be changing to another next year.

DisappointingFor the third straight year I planted Burpee tomato seed (Brandy Boy hybrid). For the first time I used this potting soil. This year all six seeds I planted died - four indoors during germination and early growth, and two after planting outdoors. Meanwhile I planted another 3 seeds using this potting soil. All three survived to planting outdoors, but 2 are struggling in their new environment. Next year I will go back to Miracle-Gro potting soil. Incidentally, I used Burpee 3" fiber pots this year for the first time.

"Formula" correctly identifies its multi-use abiliThis is my 2nd or 3rd season using this product to start seeds and incorporate into garden when setting out plants. My neighbor was very impressed with texture and quality when I showed her my new seedlings.
