Rated 5 out of 5 by Swamprat from Repels Critters Not on Label Too We've tried five different products sold for cat deterrent with zero effect. One day after reading the label telling me not to use this spray for off label applications, I sprayed my front porch and landscaping with Hot Pepper Wax. The effect was immediate. I now sit in my living room and watch the cats go into the street to pass my house. The cat urine smell is almost gone from my front door. THIS STUFF WORKS!! I just bought two more bottles.

Rated 4 out of 5 by BGarfield from Hot Pepper Wax Spray I purchased this to deter a pesky squirrel from sampling our persimmons. Now that I'll be growing tomatoes and corn I really want to be on the defensive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ec5915 from really works! i took this stuff for granted until i ran out. i sprayed it every week from May through July, and had no pest problems. i ran out the last week of July and within two weeks i was overrun with squirrels, beetles, you name it. this year i'm ordering two bottles! absolutely indespensible to the organic gardener.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Basheba from This really works! I used this product after reading on several county extension websites about hot pepper wax keeping insects away from vegetables. I used it on my tomatoes and bell peppers and it has been wonderful. I was amazed that after using it, the birds left my tomatoes alone! I also used it on my 20 or so rose bushes and so far I haven't had the bug problems I had before and I had tried about everything. But, wash your hands after using and don't use on a windy day-it is made of hot peppers and you don't want any in your eyes!
