Rated 1 out of 5 by pawa from poorly made This light was cheaply made . It would not stay together and feel over into my seedlings crushing them. I received a credit for the purchase and threw it in the landfill as it could not be recycled.

Rated 5 out of 5 by peggyg1952 from fits a tv table nicely First time growing tomatoes by seeds. If I didn't have the light I do not think they would have grown. I now have flowers hopefully I will get a good crop.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Kitty13 from Poor Design I got this as a gift. Thank goodness I didn't pay for it but I feel sorry for the person who did. The directions make it sound so easy but it is very difficult to get together. To get it to snap together you have to have the wiring on the side, not crossing over. Doing that makes the top and bottom face in opposite directions. At least on the one I got. My husband had to help and it took him 20 minutes to get the bottom to snap in with a lot more than 'moderate pressure'. That left the top with the wire crossed over inside which makes it virtually impossible to snap together completely. As long as no one bumps it, the top will stay on with the arm fully extended so we are leaving it at that. I may end up having to duct tape the top on as someone else said they had to do. The arm hasn't slipped down yet but does not lock into place tightly. I can push it down without unlocking it. I did it by accident so now I am careful. I'll probably have to duct tape that as well so it doesn't slip down onto the plants. Not that I'm concerned with looks but it will look cheap with all the duct tape. Very poor design. NOT worth the money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Mikey G from Great design; bad execution Just received this light last night. I had read the bad reviews about problems assembling and figured its just more folks with 2 left hands who can't read instructions. I was wrong. The tower is impossible to snap into the base. It went in only after I pressed hard enough to break one of the four prongs. Lucky that the remain 3 snapped in and and did the trick. I had to use electrical tape to hold the visors up all the way as they will stay only half way up on their own. If I didn't buy this at a significant discount it would have been returned immediately. As it is I will give it a chance. Burpee, you need to do better QA testing before selling something with your name on it! You are better than this!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Bette930 from Not up to Burpee Quality I bought this lamp on sale and even then it was not worth it. The plastic is flimsy. The lock/unlock mechanism for the arm length does not hold. Although it might work well, it is not something I would display on my desk. Certainly not the usual Burpee quality.
