The Glow N Grow Light Garden is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very flimsy! This is not at all what I expected. I didn't pay close enough attention to details. Beware! The lights are hanging from chains and swing every time it is bumped. The screws didn't all work. We had to go buy longer screws to put it together. It does NOT come with any type of trays. It only has two bars to set your trays on. I have seen other teacher's grow tables and thought mine would be comparable. It is not. I wish I had ordered from a different company. The price is way too high for the quality.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works very well. Started many plants (over 200) throughout this season with great results. Easy to assemble. However, agree with other reviewer you have to play with cardboard and duct tape, or whatever, to provide flat surface for heating mats. (My husband did this.) Would have been nice to have one already. Like how can adjust height of the lights. However, as I like to keep heating mats on at night and just turn off the lights, found I had to turn off switch, unplug lights and turn switch back on for mats. Very inconvenient. Next year will start even more flowers and herbs. Plus, plan on using to keep herbs going inside throughout winter. Not much sun that time of year in this part of Ohio and last year mine didn't make it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great, Strong Product I was a little unsure of buying something for $460 that a few other reviewers stated wasn't strong. The review from Burpee saying they redesigned it appears to be true. The cart is strong. It is primarily built of square tubing attached with bolts. I think I'd have to deal some serious abuse to break it. Certainly, there will be no problems from planting dead weight or the kids curiosity. At first I considered buying the parts separately and then making it myself, but the options I was looking at would save me maybe $10 (with similar size and light quality) and because I wouldn't be guaranteed that the parts would fit together I decided to try to the Burpee starter. I have owned it for a few months and have started a few things (parsley, pepper, 'chicken salad') in different container types (typical, large plant container) and it works as expected and works well. I will do more starting over the next couple of months. Things to consider to make the system work a little better: I also bought the 4' grow mats from Burpee-- they fit together well-- not perfect, but well. The disadvantage is that you will warm the entire shelf, even if you are only growing on a part of it. Still, I like it. fits well and helps the seeds to start-- which I've had good success with despite the starter being the cooler basement. I recommend getting a thin board (thinner than plywood) and putting that on the 'shelf'. The shelf is made by having 4 tubes travel across the cart. So put a thin board there to hold containers that are different from the typical seed starting pan (it doesn't need to be strong to distribute the weight and make a flat surface). I also bought a surge protector from Home Depot that has a timer built into it. I was able to replace the one it came with, by drilling one hole. Now my heat stays on 24/7, but the lights are on for 12 hours and off for 12 hours, without anything from me. Just to recap; it works exactly as expected and it is durable. There are more things to buy to make it work a little better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Improved, more efficient design We have improved design of our lights to give even better growing results and now have low-profile light fixtures with 4 each of T-8 fluorescent bulbs. This is 29% more efficient than our previous model and has a CRI (Color Rendering Index) of 85 (compared to direct sunlight that equals 100). Our grow light has been increased in depth to handle the standard size grow trays and all joints have been strengthened for more stability. Rated 5 out of 5 by from awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 3rd year using my grow light and it is working great! i have not even had to replace the bulbs till this year. i recommended this grow light to my friend and she bought it as well and has had no problems with it :) we are both happy buyers of this product and would recommend any one looking for a grow light system to buy this one. it is easy to put together and very easy to use. the lights are on a chain system so you can easily raise and lower the lights as needed

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No problems at all I have seen that several folks have had problems with this unit. Fortunately, I can say that it has worked out very well for me. Second year and still working great. I checked the bolts before using this year, and only a couple needed slight tightening. I have found it to be quite solidly built. I have no complaints.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful!! I bought this and the first season I used it, it fell apart. It fell apart and all my seedlings had been planted the night before. I heard a big crash and it had come apart and everything was everywhere. We tried to fix the it but it would not tighten appropriately where the screws go into the frame. It was very flimsy from the beginning. However, I did use the grow lights after I went out and bought metro shelving, and new seeds, and new grow mix.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wobble After 2 years it will not stand under its own weight. The screws go into the frame with has some sort of push in inserts. The harder you tighten the screws the more the insert moves or bends inside. I purhased angle bracket to try and fix the problem, not sure yet if they will be the answer.
